Koh Phangan is the largest of Samui's neighbouring islands. It hasan area of 168 square km. The island has numerous heavenly white sand beaches and secluded bays all along its coastline. Many of the stunning, untouched beachses are only reachable only by a boat cruise. Over 75% of the island is mountainous tropical forest and a large part of it is classified as "national park" by Thailand. This allows the island to keep its natural and untamed character.
For snorkelling, Koh Ma offers your best opportunity around Koh Phangan. Here you will be able to jump in the water and enjoy the amazing soft coral and multicoloured fish in the warm water. Assisted by our professional guide, first-time snorkelers will be guided to the best places to spot the amazing marine life, with even a chance to see small black tipped sharks swimming in the shallows (don’t worry they are harmless)
During your trip around Koh Phangan we also visit “Tong Nai Pan” where we provide you with plenty of time to swim and explore what this area has to offer. After enjoying the double bays, we will continue to the south of Koh Phangan to Than Sadet bay which offers something different, an amazing waterfall. You can chose to make a short climb onto some big rocks and jump into the fresh water pool at the base of the waterfall and then dry off on the huge granite rocks. These waterfalls were once visited by Their Majesties King Rama V, VII and IX. Here you can see their carved initials on the huge granite rocks that grace this river. This has become one of the most tranquil and popular places on the island to visit and relax.
We finally enter Haad Rinn beach, famous for its full moon party. This party attracts between 5-10,000 tourists monthly, many arriving several days beforehand on Haad Rin beach to build up to the big event.
